Chris Matyszczyk
Howard Raucous company

Chris Matyszczyk advises major global corporations and content creation and marketing through his California-based company, Howard Raucous.

Though he speaks with a strange English accent, his blood is all Polish (at least, that's what his mother told him).

After studying at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics, Chris worked in various ad agencies in London, winning many of the awards that you're supposed to.

He then moved to Singapore to be a creative director at Batey Ads. After Singapore, he became Executive Creative Director of Ammirati Puris Lintas in Warsaw and well as Regional Creative Director for Central and Eastern Europe. The agency won the first ever international gold awards for Poland, at the London International Advertising Awards.

Chris then moved to the US, where he was Executive Creative Director of innovative San Francisco-based integrated agency, Highway One, launching, amongst other things, ebooks software for Microsoft. The agency also shocked many with its highly controversial work for the LA Comedy Store.

Then he was enticed to New York to be EVP Executive Creative Director for Publicis Dialog and Publicis Groupe USA, in the days when David Droga was worldwide creative director. While at Publicis, work for clients such as Brookstone and Amstel Light pushed the very boundaries of what was possible in media.

Chris has now returned to the more civilized atmosphere of the Bay Area. As well as advising such companies as Coke and AIG Direct, he has expanded his content creation portfolio by creating the blog Technically Incorrect for CNET (owned by CBS).

The blog attracts more than 1million page view per month. Which is strange, given that Chris doesn't even have a clue how to format Microsoft Word.

In his spare time, he co-presents a nationally syndicated sports radio show on Sunday nights for Sports Byline USA, plays golf and tries to explain to people why he never got married.

He really doesn't Twitter all that much.
